Garden Fork: Like a tiny pitchfork that helps loosen soil and remove weeds

Rake: A tool that helps gather leaves and smooth out soil, like a big garden comb

Wheelbarrow: A garden cart that helps carry soil, plants, and tools

Plant Parts

Seed: A tiny package that contains everything needed to grow a new plant

Root: The underground part of the plant that drinks water and holds it steady

Stem: The plant's body that holds it up tall and strong

Leaf: The plant's solar panels that catch sunlight to help it grow

Flower: The colorful part of the plant that attracts pollinators and makes seeds

Fruit: The part of the plant that protects the seeds (yes, even tomatoes are fruits!)

Garden Basics
